Resistance Level
A price area where selling has repeatedly capped advances.
Resistance marks where supply has previously overwhelmed demand. Prior highs, round numbers and heavy prior volume nodes are the usual candidates.
A decisive close above resistance on strong volume is the standard breakout signal, though false breaks are common in thin crypto markets.
