Bridge
Infrastructure that moves assets or messages between two blockchains.
Bridges lock or burn an asset on the source chain and release or mint an equivalent on the destination chain. They are what makes multi-chain activity possible for ordinary users.
They are also the single largest source of stolen funds in crypto history, because a bridge concentrates a great deal of value behind one contract or one multisig.
