Bitcoin’s upward momentum is running into a significant technical test after the asset climbed toward $80,000 during a powerful weekly advance. BTC changed hands at $77,231.62, while U.S. spot 比特币 ETFs pulled in $1.92 billion in weekly net inflows.
This accumulation marked the strongest ETF week since October 2025, when inflows hit $2.71 billion. Nevertheless, analyst Rekt Capital pointed out that 比特币 continues to encounter 阻力 near vital long-term moving averages.

Crypto investor and analyst Rekt Capital noted that Bitcoin has advanced into its 50-week exponential moving average, which is currently serving as a barrier. The analyst stated that Bitcoin must reclaim this threshold as 支撑 to reinforce the argument for further gains upward.
Additionally, the analyst highlighted the 21-week EMA as another benchmark that has not yet been technically reclaimed. Historically, both averages have behaved differently through 看涨 和 看跌的 market cycles, according to his assessment.
A weekly close above the 21-week EMA would represent only the initial phase of confirmation. Rekt Capital explained that the BTC price would subsequently need to successfully retest the level and defend it as 支撑.
Failure to do so could mirror the early 2026 relief rally, which ultimately resumed the broader downtrend. He observed that BTC continues to carve out macro lower highs despite the recent price recovery.
Consequently, the 50-week EMA presents another obstacle now that Bitcoin has pushed past multiple shorter-term 阻力 阻力位附近解仓时引发迅速反转。
Rekt Capital emphasized that both weekly averages must convert into 支撑 before the macro lower-high pattern is broken. Until that happens, he noted, Bitcoin has not 得到确认 a fresh macro uptrend. The analyst also pointed out that the current breakout remains technically unverified.
