Analysts Warn Bitcoin Faces $82K Test Amid Drop Risks

主要洞察

  • 比特币’s price remained constrained below the $82,000 resistance ceiling, preventing a confirmed breakout.
  • Exchange inflows grew while stablecoin liquidity on Binance experienced a sharp expansion.
  • Market participants monitored the $78,500 support level before aiming for the $83,000–$84,000 territory.

Bitcoin’s price hovered near $79,826 on Sept. 6, staying underneath the critical $82,000 resistance barrier. TradingView figures indicated that BTC failed to sustain a brief push past $80,000.

This technical setup kept 比特币 trapped inside an expansive recovery channel following its August advance. Analysts weighed whether buyers could successfully reclaim $82,000 or if they would surrender nearby support around $78,500.

Bitcoin Price Holds Below $82,000 Resistance

The Bitstamp chart on TradingView placed 比特币 around $79,826 at 07:42 UTC on Sept. 6. The trading session opened near $79,830 and climbed to an intraday peak of roughly $80,106.

The same chart recorded an intraday low close to $79,600 prior to a modest recovery. Earlier Binance Market Data valued BTC at $80,067.44 at 01:40 UTC.

That specific Binance reading marked a 0.56% increase over the prior 24 hours. However, subsequent TradingView numbers revealed sellers driving BTC back under the $80,000 threshold.

Binance’s market update from Sept. 5 pointed to a broader trading band between $78,660 and $81,423. That corridor kept the crucial $82,000 mark outside confirmed breakout territory.

Commentator Kaz noted that weekend sessions often trigger brief volatility before standard liquidity returns. He anticipated another intraday shift prior to the Monday Asia session. Consequently, bulls lacked a definitive weekly breakout signal despite the broader August rebound.

Bitcoin Price Technical Structure Keeps $82,000 in Focus

TradingView data positioned 比特币’s latest swing high near $81,455, contrasting with an August trough around $62,218.

Fibonacci retracement markers flagged initial downside support near $76,915. Deeper cushions emerged at $74,106, $71,835, $69,565, and $66,333.

The chart configurations illustrated BTC maintaining its footing above the 0.236 retracement marker following the August rally. Even so, the market had yet to breach the upper resistance band.

Analyst Mister Crypto remarked that Bitcoin remained trapped underneath the $74,000 to $82,000 resistance band, adding that a weekly close above that threshold would enhance the macro structure.

His evaluation viewed the existing price action as resistance until buyers demonstrated otherwise. That perspective mirrored the price action’s recurring rejections near the top of the range.

A definitive surge past $82,000 would leave the recent swing high behind the bulls. Conversely, a failure at this hurdle could leave Bitcoin vulnerable to lower retracement levels.

Bitcoin Price Faces Mixed Exchange Flow Signals

CryptoQuant analyst CryptoOnchain noted that average exchange netflows hit +593 BTC daily across a seven-day stretch—a 132% surge compared to the prior week.

Binance absorbed an average of +1,148 BTC daily throughout the same timeframe. CryptoOnchain also highlighted a single-day Binance deposit of +2,537 BTC on Sept. 1.

Meanwhile, Coinbase posted average daily outflows of 357 BTC. OKX and Bybit registered smaller positive netflows during the observed window.

The figures revealed coins transferring across multiple trading platforms rather than concentrating on a sole venue. CryptoOnchain characterized this dynamic as widespread supply redistribution among exchanges.

CryptoOnchain additionally pointed out that Binance stablecoin netflows averaged +$22.1 million per day, stepping up from a prior daily average of $4.4 million.

This dual metric indicated incoming BTC supply alongside heightened stablecoin purchasing firepower. CryptoOnchain observed that similar setups historically support absorption tendencies and prolonged sideways trading.

The Coinbase Premium Index landed at negative 0.05 on Sept. 1, with CryptoOnchain stating that a push back into positive territory would bolster the bullish demand thesis.

Deribit metrics via PerpFinder highlighted $168.7 million in Bitcoin options open interest headed for a Sept. 6 expiry. The put-to-call open interest ratio rested near 0.99 leading up to the settlement.

This balance pointed to an even split between put and call positioning ahead of expiration, providing minimal directional clarity alongside mixed on-chain exchange metrics.

BTC Crypto Traders Watch $78,500 and $84,000

Trader Kaz projected a potential weekend run toward $80,500 or $80,800, followed by a probable correction down to $78,500.

That targeted level would serve as his favored zone to initiate continuation long positions. Provided the support holds, his upside targets sit within the $83,000 to $84,000 range.

This projection remained conditional and represented a single analyst’s outlook rather than a guaranteed trajectory for Bitcoin.

Consequently, the near-term price structure revolves around the $78,500 support floor and the $82,000 resistance ceiling. Securing a weekly close above resistance would deliver firmer technical validation.

Conversely, a drop beneath $78,500 would pivot focus toward the $76,915 Fibonacci marker. Market participants will look to Sunday’s liquidity trends and Monday’s Asia trading session for further clues.
