Crypto ETFs Climb as BlackRock IBIT Draws $3.7B

主要洞察:

  • BlackRock’s IBIT attracts $3.7B this quarter as 加密货币 ETF demand rebounds.
  • U.S. 比特币 ETFs add $3.8B in three weeks, cutting 2026 losses to $1B.
  • Ethereum ETFs post 10,330 ETH inflows as BlackRock’s ETHA leads demand.

加密货币 交易所-traded funds have picked up fresh momentum, driven by BlackRock’s iShares 比特币 Trust pulling in roughly $3.7 billion this quarter. These inflows place IBIT on track for its highest quarterly intake since the third quarter of 2025.

September has already brought in $459.8 million, following a roughly $3 billion haul in August. That August total represented IBIT’s strongest single month of inflows since October 2025.

This surge in demand pushed IBIT’s assets under management to approximately $62.6 billion, nearing the fund’s highest valuation since mid-May. Since July began, the fund’s assets have grown by roughly $19.6 billion, or 46%, though it stays below its prior peak near $100 billion.

Crypto ETFs Recover After Heavy Summer Redemptions

IBIT’s bounce-back is part of a broader revival across U.S. spot 比特币 交易所-traded products. 比特币 funds brought in $3.52 billion during August, marking their best monthly performance of 2026.

This recovery persisted into early September, extending a three-week streak of inflows that injected about $3.8 billion into the asset class.

During the week ending September 5, net inflows grew by another $986.9 million, fueled largely by September 3 alone adding $730.9 million. These additions reduced the sector’s net deficit for 2026 down to approximately $1 billion, erasing heavy redemptions from earlier in the year.

June caused the most severe setback, with about $4.5 billion exiting U.S. spot Bitcoin products. Substantial withdrawals in May also weighed heavily on the sector during the midyear. Even though August and September inflows narrowed that gap significantly, the overall 2026 total remains negative.

BlackRock Leads the Bitcoin Crypto ETF Rebound

BlackRock’s IBIT continues to stand as the largest single Bitcoin fund in the U.S. market. Its quarterly inflows reached about $3.66 billion, completely offsetting earlier negative flows. IBIT assets recently climbed back from roughly $47 billion to about $62.64 billion following the latest wave of investments.

Ever since U.S. spot Bitcoin 交易所-traded funds debuted on January 11, 2024, cumulative inflows have hit approximately $55.6 billion. The entire category currently accounts for roughly $101.3 billion in total assets under management.

Additional 支撑 for the recent turnaround came from Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, alongside products from ARK 21Shares and Bitwise.

Conversely, Grayscale’s GBTC has experienced ongoing redemptions, standing in contrast to the fresh capital flowing into rival products. Because IBIT commands the largest asset base of any single fund, its substantial inflows drove the broader category recovery.

Ethereum ETF Flows Add to Recent Activity

Ethereum funds also saw positive net activity during the same timeframe. U.S. ETH 作为其原生资产。">Ethereum exchange-traded funds registered 10,330 ETH in combined net inflows on September 4. BlackRock’s ETHA paced the sector by securing 29,600 ETH in reported net inflows, while Bitwise’s ETHB trailed with 6,540 ETH.

Meanwhile, Fidelity’s FETH moved in the opposite direction, registering 19,270 ETH in outflows. Despite Fidelity’s withdrawals, the combined fund-level data yielded a net positive day for 以太坊 funds. At the same time, ongoing Bitcoin fund inflows continued to shrink the category’s 2026 deficit, with IBIT acting as the dominant fund during the bounce.

Overall, the latest data highlights a distinct pivot away from the heavy summer redemption cycle for cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds. Strong quarterly and August performances cemented BlackRock’s role at the heart of the recovery, even though Bitcoin products remained roughly $1 billion in the red for 2026.
