Exchange Reserves
The amount of an asset held in known exchange wallets.
Falling reserves are often read as coins moving into self-custody and off the immediate sell side; rising reserves suggest the opposite.
The signal has weakened as custody arrangements have grown more complex, with ETFs, prime brokers and institutional custodians holding balances that do not fit the old model.
